A future team member will meet with clients, from initial contact to walk through of plans, budget, and overall project needs until completion. Preparation is key, detailed landscape design, proposals, and plan to execute with purpose is a fundamental path to success.

This position will pursue with strategic targeted landscape enhancements / renovation of both in-house client portfolios to outside commercial and residential opportunities. This position requires a driven team member to campaign with ASI and meet sales quotas both individually and partnering with team members. A motivated individual who is highly organized and possesses strong communication skills, establishing rooted relationships with our clients from first contact to beyond, ensuring a proper service of sales and satisfaction. Landscape operational knowledge with experience is a must to grow with our ASI team.

Responsibilities:

. Proactively seeking new growth opportunities in the market, identifying, creating, and maintaining trusted partnerships with key decision-makers.

. Qualifying opportunities to gain valuable intelligence and understanding if we are a partnership fit.

. Exceeding or able to meet our annual sales goals with the ASI organization.

. Prepare present materials for client meeting, industry exhibits, trade shows, meetings, and conferences.

. Stay up to date with new products/ services and new pricing/ payment plans as well as new project developments throughout central Florida.

. Develop relationships with lasting partnerships that result in re-occurring project work, targeted sales strategies that convey customized product for each client.

. Close new business deals by coordinating negotiations, proposals, renderings, and requirements for contracts, setting an integration plan with ASI’s operations team by working in tandem with the operations team to establish a team approach for the client.

. Communicate effectively in verbal, non-verbal, and written form: design, implement, and evaluate and entire strategic, marketing program: persuade, influence and negotiating with others, analyze data and interpret statistics correctly: work independently. Works with Windows and Microsoft Office.

. Continuous client care with follow-ups and up to speed inquires and stainable problem solving. Maintain customer service consistently, keeping clients well-informed, listens attentively with any questions and or concerns enacts a personal approach to customer service.

. Sales cultivates and maintains current client base, develops new business contacts, monitors, and increases capture rate, develops, and executes an annual sales plan that targets a diverse and profitable portfolio tracks all proposals, contact and leads conducts sales forecasting, achieves sales goals.


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in Sales, Business Development, Sales Account Management or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Experience in the service industry with commercial and Residential sales
  • Local knowledge and contacts in one or more applicable market segments.
  • Strong customer experience and relationship development skills.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Aspire, etc.)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field preferred but not mandatory
  • Creativity in residential design
  • Comfortable meeting and working with a variety of client types
  • Ability to carry a conversation and control meetings
  • Lead clients through an interview process to determine their needs and financial budget
  • Ability to create designs in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Experience with landscape lighting, drainage, hardscapes, dog parks, outdoor kitchens a plus.
  • Knowledge of local plant materials and other landscape materials
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems
  • Ability to source materials from Company selected vendors
  • AutoDesk CAD experience a plus
  • SketchUp or similar rendering software
  • Microsoft Office applications experience necessary
  • Preparing detailed proposals-Excel
  • Digital rendering and quick hand sketching
  • Professional appearance
